######################################################################### Notes on using JWPASIYA ######################################################################### JWPASIYA.ZIP unzips to A24X24.F00 A24X24.F00 may be used to change the font style of the 24x24 Japanese font used in JWP. To see how the new font differs from the original, look at JWPASIYA.BMP, which shows some sample characters in both the original font style and in "Asiya24". To use "Asiya24" in JWP, you need to change one line of the JWP initialization file (JWP.INI, which should be in your WINDOWS directory). You can do this with any text editor. In the "Kanji Fonts" section, change Font #2=C:\JWP13\K24X24.F00 to Font #2=C:\JWP13\A24X24.F00 (The path C:\JWP13\ may be different on your computer.) Next time you start JWP, you can choose the 24x24 font for either display or for printing, using "Kanji Fonts..." in the "Utilities" menu, and the font style will be "Asiya24". To go back to the original font style, just restore the line in JWP.INI which you changed (and restart JWP). Note: A24X24.F00 has four kanji at the end of the file which are not in the original K24X24.F00. Technical note: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ A24X24.F00 was derived from ASIYA24.FNT by the following means. First, the bitmap data was bitwise-inverted, then the 64-byte header at the start of K24X24.F00 was prepended.
