JavaDict Here are some suggestions from Daniel Doron and Todd Rudick for people who are having problems with JavaDict on recent systems such as Windows 2000. Platform : Win2000 Build 2031. Instructions : 1. Follow the installation procedure as described in the JavaDict readme file. 2. Instead of copying the font.properties.Win32 file to the destination directory you should rename the file : font.properties.ja to font.properties. If you don't know where the file is just make a search on your computer. Make sure you have installed the Java SW and Japanese fonts. People should make sure that they have the internationalized version of the runtime environment (if there are two). (Todd adds: I've had several mails from people who had installed the stripped down version which doesn't contain the character conversion libraries. JavaDict dies a poor death in this case.
